Wednesday, July 1, 4-5 pm: Farm Trails and Food Guides: Connecting Community to Regional Farms and Food (WEBINAR)

Join the Roanoke Foodshed Network (RFN) for a virtual Learning Exchange exploring how farm trails and food guides connect communities with local farms, food businesses, and regional food systems. Hear from leaders behind four Southwest Virginia food and farm trail initiatives as they share how their guides were developed, what makes each effort unique, and how they are strengthening connections between producers, consumers, and communities. Featured speakers will highlight the Floyd Farm Trail & Sustain Floyd Food Guide, New River Valley Food and Farm Guide, Local Food Lynchburg, and the Roanoke Region Food and Farm Trail. Whether you’re interested in agritourism, local food marketing, community engagement, or regional food system development, this conversation will offer practical insights and opportunities for collaboration across the region. We hope you’ll join us for this engaging discussion and exchange of ideas.
