This is a FREE event, but we ask that you consider financially supporting our work.

No matter what age or gender, stewarding the strength and flexibility of your body is of utmost importance – especially when living an active life with daily work on the farm or homestead, in the garden, around the house, and beyond. Yet even with an active lifestyle physical fitness is not always a given. Throwing your back out, pulling a muscle, or suffering from repetitive use injuries can happen to us all. But what if we could more actively cultivate a stronger, fitter body?

Join us Tuesday, July 15 (6-8pm) at Mountain Run Farm for a community potluck and skillshare with Amber Lyssy, farmer and physical fitness specialist. Amber will be sharing key practices and tips for optimizing your physical fitness through intentional movement, holistic nutrition, and more. Men and women, young and old, will benefit from Amber’s insights and expertise. Don’t miss it!

ABOUT AMBER:

Amber Lyssy is a trained Physical Fitness Specialist certified by the Cooper Institute of Dallas Texas, in 2003. For many years she has helped teens to the elderly achieve greater wellness, with a focus on strength, flexibility, mobility, cardiovascular training, and knowledge about holistic nutrition. She is also a farmer at Brooklyn Hills Ranch, alongside her husband Fred.

She is a devoted mother of 6 (17 to 3yrs) and for the last decade has been focused on birthing, and homeschooling. Amber loves sharing her wisdom and is entering a new season of assisting the young and old with their physical fitness needs.
