This is a FREE event but we ask that you RSVP.

Raising farm animals is hard work. And keeping them in optimal health, naturally, means regaining the folk wisdom of generations past. If you are a small farmer or homesteader with a focus on pasture based animal husbandry you won’t want to miss this look at natural first-aid methodology – with case studies using herbal and homeopathic remedies.

Join us Tuesday, November 19 (6-8pm) at the Sedalia Center in northern Bedford County for the final Land & Table potluck of 2024 and an insightful skillshare presented by Lucy Overstreet of IdleWild Farm. Lucy will be sharing real first-aid scenarios, steps she took to solve them, and natural ways you can care for your farm animals more holistically.

Don’t miss this last Bedford Land & Table potluck of the year! Monthly potlucks will resume in February/March of 2025.

More about IdleWild Farm:
Doug and Lucy Overstreet founded Idlewild Farm in 2008, the same year they tied the knot. The farm began as a vision of how to feed a family that had just begun. Four children and over a decade later, our vision has grown into a small family farm that serves the Bedford – Lynchburg – Roanoke region with quality pork and poultry products.
