This is a FREE event but we ask that you RSVP.

Calling all ecological farmers, homesteaders, home growers, local food lovers, new agrarians, agri-elders, market gardeners, food artisans, pastoralists, soilhuggers, beekeepers, foragers, wildcrafters, goat wranglers, sheep herders, food preservers, bread bakers, compost turners, stormriders, haystackers, permaculturalists, mead makers, chicken raisers, orchardists, cider pressers, berry pickers, mushroom hunters, meat eaters, herb growers, friends, neighbors, & everyone in-between.

The future is local and now is the time for us to press, together, into the work of relocalizing our food system, reweaving the fabric of local community, restoring local economy, and advancing ecological agriculture in the Lynchburg, Virginia region.

Join us for our first potluck of the year on Tuesday, Feb. 20 (6-8pm) at the Sedalia Center in northern Bedford County. We will be hosting an informal open forum discussing our vision for this new year. We will discuss the progress with Local Food Lynchburg (the regional local food guide project), how we hope to offer more events and programs like: ReSkill workshops, underground supper club dinners?, and more – and how you can be a part. We also invite you to bring your ideas for educational workshops and meeting topics (related to local food, self-reliance, and ecological agriculture) – what do you want to see us cover this year?

Come for the networking. Stay for the food and conversation! Whether you are new to Land & Table or have been a part of our monthly meetings for a long time, don’t miss this chance to give your input and help shape our work this year in 2024.
