Due to heavy rain predicted for 6/20, this event has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, June 27. Please spread the word!

As inflation continues to rise, and our families struggle to make ends meet in an unpredictable economy, many people are going back to the land looking for answers. Interest in homesteading is booming but making it all work can seem overwhelming. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be complicated and it doesn’t have to break the bank.

Join us Tuesday, June 27 (6-8pm) at The Little Rustic Homestead, owned by Pete Accomando and Krystal Vullo, in Huddleston (Bedford County) for a potluck, mini-farm tour, and discussion on establishing a family homestead on a small budget.

We’ll be discussing how a DIY approach to self-reliance and food production can fit any budget if you are willing to combine a little creativity, sweat equity, and a willingness to learn as you go. We will also be sharing: low cost options for garden and chicken infrastructure, plus other ways to pull down homesteading dreams into doable reality.
