The right farm fencing is critical for raising livestock well. From pastured poultry to small stock and cattle how do you pick which fencing will work for your animals, your terrain, and your budget?
Join us on Saturday, May 20 (5-7pm) for a community potluck and hands-on fencing demonstration at Brooklyn Hills Ranch in Amherst County. We’ll be looking at temporary, and semi-temporary electrified fencing, to permanent woven fencing and more. We will be discussing practical functions and the features that each kind of fencing provides for different livestock.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
WHEN: Saturday, May 20 (6-8pm)
WHERE: Brooklyn Hills Ranch (Amherst County, Virginia)

WHO: Anyone! All are welcome.
WHAT TO BRING:
– A dish to share.
– A friend (of course)!
– Your own dishware.
– A lawn chair.
– Kids are welcome but they must be attended by an adult.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT.

Please park in the front field before the creekbed. Crossing the creekbed is an option for vehicles that are higher off the ground.
