Join us Tuesday, May 21 (6-8pm) for our monthly Root Stock potluck. Hosted by Bramble Hollow Farm in Montvale, we will hear from guest speaker Jeff Mattocks, renowned poultry nutritionist, who will be talking about how to optimize the natural health of pastured poultry flocks. This will be an insightful discussion with plenty of information to take notes about. Bring a notebook and a pen and come with questions. Commercial pastured poultry farmers and backyard flock raisers alike will benefit from Jeff’s deep knowledge of optimizing poultry health naturally.

Jeff Mattocks has over 20 years’ experience working with organic, pastured, and sustainable agriculture. He is actively involved in diet formulation for all types of livestock and poultry for organic and sustainable farmers. Jeff also assists and educates farmers with better management practices increasing animal health, productivity and return income from poultry and livestock. The education includes local farmer meetings, speaking at conference workshops, hosting field days and conducting field trials on controversial feeding methods. He is always striving to learn and understand more about how to keep poultry and livestock healthy, productive and profitable.

Bring a friend, a healthy dish to share, and your own dishware. Latecomers welcome. This is a family friendly event but children must be supervised. Please consider bringing a $5 donation. All donations for the evening will go to the speaker.
