Mycobactyerium vaccae is a soil bacterium that stimulates the feel-good endorphins in our brain. The more you dig in the garden…the better you feel! But what do you do if you don’t have a decent yard to grow food in? You can still get in the game with container gardening no matter where you live. But knowing the in’s and out’s of container gardening can be tricky

Join us Tuesday, June 12 (5-8pm) for a community potluck and learn the secrets of container gardening from Jody Purches, life long gardener, Appomattox County Master Gardener (since 2013), and confessed mycobactyerium vaccae addict.

Whether you are just getting started with container gardening or want to take it to the next level, this is a great opportunity to learn from Jody and meet other natural gardeners, growers and local food advocates in the Appomattox area.
