Check out the details below and get more info here and here. ———————– Join us at Restoration Acres Farm on Saturday, June 30 for an evening of friends, fellowship and fun on the farm. The event starts at 6:00pm with fun for the whole family as we enjoy food, fun, and tours of the farm. Food will be provided by Uprooted, Great Day Gardens, and Tha Best Kombucha. Then, at 8:00pm, we’ll show the highly acclaimed documentary Farmers For America, narrated by Mike Rowe. The documentary explores the changing American farm scene and changing consumer trends. The film takes a close look at today’s farmers, and those standing in line to replace them. Can their spirit and energy bring urban and rural America together over our common need for food? Around 9:15pm, at the conclusion of the film, stick around for a panel discussion with the documentary’s filmmaker, director and producer Graham Merriweather. It’s sure to be a great evening for everyone. Ticket cost is $10 per vehicle. Tickets can be purchased by calling 434-455-4485, in-person by visiting the Lynchburg Community Market, or at the event.
