Region 2000 Local Government Council (LGC) and its member localities – Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell, and Bedford counties, the towns of Altavista, Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Brookneal and the city of Lynchburg – have launched an on-line Agriculture & Forestry assessment survey to assess current conditions and identify needs from the perspectives of local producers. The survey window is open for responses through 5PM on May 15th. The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/promoteag. The survey allows local producers to provide detailed information on specific needs within the Agriculture & Forestry industries of Region 2000.
