local beekeeper Ted Falls. Bring your beekeeping questions and learn about how we can all help create a sanctuary for bees & other pollinators. Weather permitting, Ted will also do a hands-on demonstration with the bee hives on site. (Note: For those of you who are interested in an up-close examination of the hives please consider wearing light colors as bees tend to view darker colors as a threat (think: black bears, etc!). And as always, please leave your dogs or other pets at home. For those of you who are scared of or are allergic to bees please know that we will not be sitting in the midst of bee hives – the hives are located on the far edge of the camp.) ================================ When: Tuesday, June 21 (5-8pm) (5-5:45) Arriving and Networking (5:45-6:45) Eating and Hanging Out (6:45-8:00) Discussion and hive demonstration with local beekeeper Ted Falls.
