Join us Saturday, March 16 (1:30 – 4:30 pm) for this hands-on ReSkill workshop with orchardist, heirloom apple enthusiast, and cidermaker John Hoskins. This will be an in-depth workshop on the practical art of pruning apple trees and it’s importance for longevity, resilience, and the abundance of your apple harvest.
This workshop is great for those just starting out with apple trees, and for those who are looking to deepen their understanding of cultivating a thriving apple orchard. Don’t miss this important time of learning!
A free boxed lunch will be provided to each attendee. If you have dietary restrictions feel free to bring your own.
WHAT TO BRING:
– If you have them, please bring bypass pruners.
– Bring a notebook and pen, or some way to take good notes.

John Hoskins is an heirloom apple and cider enthusiast who maintains an orchard at his farm in Forest, Virginia. He has hundreds of individual trees and 40 different varieties growing.
