The Gathering at Sedalia, sustainability event – October 6, 2012[/caption] Our friends down the road at the Sedalia Center are putting on a ‘local, sustainable skill-sharing’ and sustainability event here in Bedford County, coming up in October! We plan on being there and hope you will too.
The Gathering at Sedalia – For Sustainability and the Art of Mindful Living Come out and find out about sustainable farming and gardening, composting, permaculture, soil and water conservation, renewable energy, primitive skills, and more. Visit booths maintained by resource-sharing organizations, and join our new Do It Yourself Renewable Energy Club! The Gathering is essentially educational in nature and will follow the general model of a skills-sharing event. Vendors and participants will be drawn first from the local community.
