Join us!
Land and Table hosts monthly events to connect, empower, and inspire regenerative farmers, ranchers, homesteaders, local food lovers, organic gardeners, homemakers, chicken whisperers, soil huggers, and all eaters! All are welcome!
Since late 2011 we have been hosting monthly potlucks around the Lynchburg, Virginia region. These meetings are designed for building local community, empowering local food production, advancing regenerative agriculture, reclaiming skills for a more self-reliant life, and much more. We currently host two potlucks each month: Bedford County (3rd Tuesday) and Amherst County (3rd Saturday).

The Resilient Homestead | Huddleston (6/18)
Join us on Tuesday, June 18 (6-8pm) at Little Rustic Homestead in Huddleston, Virginia (Bedford County) for a farm tour and walking discussion on how to create a low cost homestead with maximum resilience in mind.
Adaptive Stewardship | Amherst (6/15)
Join us on Saturday, June 15 (5-7pm) at Brooklyn Hills Ranch in Amherst County for a Land & Table networking potluck and discussion on Dr. Alan William’s concept of Adaptive Stewardship.
Glorious Mead w/ Graham Ordinary | Sedalia (May 21)
Join us for our monthly Land & Table potluck on Tuesday, May 21 (6-8pm) at Mountain Run Farm. We will be hearing from John Graham of Graham Ordinary, a unique lodge and meadery. Hear about the history of mead, the modern mead making process, keeping honey bees, and the story behind their family’s mountain lodge and meadery here in Bedford County.

POTLUCKS
(MONTHLY MEETINGS)
We’ve been hosting monthly potlucks for over a decade! Join us on the evening of the third Tuesday of the month (Bedford County) or the third Saturday of the month (Amherst) for networking, community building, skillsharing, forums, work parties, topical presentations, and more.
L&T BOOK CLUB
(NOT CURRENTLY MEETING)
This book club is a way to engage with the core ideas and topics important to the local food movement. The L&T Book Club is currently on pause, but you can check out our previous books from the Bedford County and Lynchburg area libraries.
WORKSHOPS
ReSkill workshops are intensive learning environments for homesteaders, homegrowers, farmers, and anyone looking to reclaim the agrarian skills needed for a more food secure, resilient life.
