Land and Table hosts monthly events to connect, empower, and inspire regenerative farmers, ranchers, homesteaders, local food lovers, organic gardeners, homemakers, chicken whisperers, soil huggers, and all eaters! All are welcome!
Since late 2011 we have been hosting monthly potlucks around the Lynchburg, Virginia region. These meetings are designed for building local community, empowering local food production, advancing regenerative agriculture, reclaiming skills for a more self-reliant life, and much more. We currently host two potlucks each month: Bedford County (3rd Tuesday, February to November) and Amherst County (3rd Saturday, starting in April to October).
See below for upcoming event info and 2025 monthly potluck dates:

Hog Butchery Basics | 8-17-24 (Amherst)
Are you interested in raising healthy pasture / forest-based meats to feed your family? Regenerative animal husbandry is only one part of the process. Self-reliance also requires you regain the lost art and skill of butchery.
Join us on Saturday, August 17 (5-7pm) at Brooklyn Hills Ranch in Amherst County, Virginia for a networking potluck and demonstration of home-based hog butchery basics by farmer Fred Lyssy
