No one is an island! Calling all eco-farmers, homesteaders, new agrarians, back-yard growers, and local food advocates in and around Amherst County. It’s time to reweave the fabric of local, land-based community.
Join us on Saturday, June 18, 2022 (5-7pm) for the monthly Amherst Land & Table potluck as we come together for networking and community building. Rub shoulders, shoot the breeze, and plot collaborative local food goodness with other like-minded lovers of the land at Brooklyn Hills Ranch.
Owned by Fred and Amber Lyssy, Brooklyn Hills Ranch is a regenerative family farm focused on raising pasture-based, nutrient dense meats for the local community. Fred and Amber are the hospitable hosts of the monthly Amherst meeting.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
– Bring a main dish to share. This is a potluck.
(Or your own dinner if you do not want to participate in the potluck).
– Bring your own dishware (plate, utensils, etc).
– Bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket.
Please park in the front field before the creek.
Kids are welcome but they must be attended to by a parent during the event.
PLEASE NOTE: As always, if you are not feeling well, or have a fever, we ask that you stay home and rest.
