With 200,000 acres of farmland and 1,400 farms, Bedford County is home to a strong agriculture industry and a growing local food movement.  As public interest in local, sustainably-raised foods continues to rise what role can agri-tourism play in helping connect farmers and the wider community?
Join us for an open conversation with new tourism director Jerry Craig as he discusses plans for growing the county’s focus on agri-tourism
and it’s importance for the local food movement.
