With a focus on growing healthy produce and flowers for the Lynchburg area community\, this woman owned and operated farm is a model of human-scale ecological farming for the future. \nJoin us for a Land & Table potluck and farm tour at Great Day Gardens in Forest\, Virginia\, Tuesday\, June 16 (6-8pm) as we explore the various layers of Great Day Gardens ecological approach to farming with owner / farmer Arden Jones. This skillshare series will examine the soil\, food\, and health connection beginning at the microbial level underfoot. In this first part of the series we will focus on how to examine plant roots and soil and how to grow healthier plants in the garden and pasture for a nutrient dense diet.
