SUMMARY:Soil To Body Health: Optimizing Plant Health (July 18)
DESCRIPTION:RSVP VIA WEBSITE\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n RSVP VIA FACEBOOK\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n As farmers\, homesteaders or gardeners we must always be students of the natural world. Too often we are guessing at how to produce a healthy harvest\, leveraging industrial chemicals to manage fertility and pest control – but what if there was a better way? In order to become better stewards who take intentional action born of wisdom we must understand plant health and nutrients at a cellular level. \nJoin us Saturday\, July 18 (5-7pm) for a potluck and skillshare at Brooklyn Hill Ranch in Amherst County\, Virginia for the monthly Land & Table potluck. This time around holistic farmers Fred and Amber Lyssy will be continuing the theme of ‘Soil to Body Health’\, tracing the nutrient cycle from the soil microbes to our own bodies. We will be focusing on above ground plants and will be showing how to use a refractometer to discern nutrient levels. This is a great holistic tool for improving how you grow! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n WhoWhat To BringWhereWhenCost\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n This monthly learning group is open to the public and is family friendly*.  \n*A parent is required to attend children throughout the event.
