Gunny’s Farm as she discusses some basics of beekeeping and the benefits of raw honey. As always, these monthly gatherings are a great way to network with other farmers, gardeners, homesteaders, and local food advocates who are interested in sustainable agriculture and strengthening local community life. (Please note: the Appomattox monthly gathering meets the first Tuesday of each month. The Lynchburg/Bedford monthly gathering meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month) WHERE: Local APX Market (hosted by Don and Nancy Wilk) 1848 Church Street, Appomattox, VA 24522 Parking is available in the rear of the building (go down alleyway on the left side of the building) or along Main Street in Appomattox.
